The Fluffiest Waffle

Fluffy waffles are a breakfast delight, offering a perfect blend of crispiness on the outside and a soft, airy interior. These delectable treats are best enjoyed with a generous drizzle of maple syrup, a dollop of whipped cream, a scattering of fresh berries or a mountain of caramelized bananas. Whether for a leisurely weekend brunch or a special occasion, fluffy waffles are sure to elevate any morning meal with their irresistible texture and comforting flavor.


I tried dozens of recipes trying to find the perfect, fluffiest waffle batter. And after tons of trial and error, testing this out, adding that, removing this, trying that.. I have finally perfected it!

Ingredients:


- 1 3/4 cups oat milk

- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

- 2 tsp vanilla

- 2 cups flour

- 2 tbsp sugar

- 1 tbsp baking powder

- 1 tsp salt

- 1-2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

- 1/3 cup carbonated/sparkling water


Instructions:


  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine oat milk, apple cider vinegar and vanilla together. Set aside and let sit for 10 minutes.

  2. In a separate mixing bowl, add all your dry ingredients and stir to combine.

  3. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir to combine. Be careful not to over mix.

  4. Add carbonated water and mix slightly. Allow to rest 5 minutes.

  5. Heat a waffle iron and lightly oil

  6. Pour batter onto waffle iron and cook according to instructions.

  7. Top with your desired toppings.

  8. Enjoy!
