Ingredients:

- 8 oz Violife Just like Cheddar shreds

- 2 tbsp flour (all-purpose or gluten-free)

- 4 tbsp Violife vegan butter

- 2 tsp onion powder

- 2 tsp garlic powder

- 1 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

- 1 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

- 1 1/2 tsp ground black pepper (adjust to taste)

- 17.5 oz pasta (elbow macaroni or your choice of pasta)

- 2 cups plant-based heavy cream (such as coconut cream, cashew cream, or any store-bought vegan heavy cream)

Instructions:

1. **Cook the Pasta:**

- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. **Make the Cheese Sauce:**

- In a large saucepan, melt the Violife vegan butter over medium heat.

- Once melted, whisk in the flour and cook for about 1-2 minutes to create a roux, stirring constantly to avoid browning.

- Gradually pour in the plant-based heavy cream while whisking to prevent lumps. Continue to whisk until the mixture starts to thicken, about 3-5 minutes.

3. **Add Seasonings:**

- Stir in the onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

4. **Incorporate the Cheese:**

- Reduce the heat to low and add the Violife Just like Cheddar shreds. Stir continuously until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, you can adjust the consistency with a little more plant-based cream.

5. **Combine Pasta and Sauce:**

- Add the cooked pasta to the cheese sauce and stir until the pasta is fully coated. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

6. **Serve:**

- Serve the vegan mac and cheeze hot, garnished with additional smoked paprika or fresh herbs if desired.

Enjoy your creamy, delicious vegan mac and cheeze!
